My 100th BAR and Winter Shouse Beer Mile

Held on January 31, 2019, the ice was so bad, we had to create a makeshift course that involved running on the grass north from Shelter 14, looping back to the road, and running and out and back to Shelter 12. The Jones brothers claimed the entire male podium.

Shouse Beer Mile

On June 28, 2018, the summer running of the finest in beer blister running was hot, humid, and the second largest turnout in Shouse Beer Mile history with 19 individual runners and three teams. RD Shane Jones crowned two newcomer champions for both the women's and men's podiums. The race soundtrack was written and performed by Konasil.

Run 816 Beer Mile

As a proud member of the Run 816 Race Team, I had the opportunity to participate in the inaugural team beer mile. Andrew Marshall served as RD and we had 11 runners. By the way is not only my favorite running store, and they were recently awarded one of the 50 Best Running Stores in America.
