My Third Beer Mile
The running of the Fall Shouse Beer Mile was held on September 21, 2017 which was a day before the Autumn Equinox, although there were plenty of leaves on the course. For the first time in Shouse Beer Mile history, there was only one Jones on the men's podium.

About 3 days after DNFing the Night Hawk 50k in the summer of 2017, I made the decision to run it again in 2017. This time I was prepared, and I encountered some amazing people along the way.
My First Beer Mile
The running of the Summer Edition of the Shouse Beer Mile was held on June 29, 2017. There was a record showing, 25 finishers, on the rain course at Wyandotte County Lake near shelter 14. The Jones boys swept the men's podium again, but we had three new strong competitors on the women's podium!
