Morgan not only outran me for January, he crushed me with a pro-level 325 miles! There were only three days where it was close:

Jan 1 where I was actually ahead thanks to the Wallace Park Fat Ass.
Jan 2 where Morgan took a slight lead.
Jan 17 when Leia and I ran a self-supported 100 miler. At the start of that day, Morgan was 100.5 miles ahead of me, and on our run, we passed Morgan out for his standard 11 mile morning run. I knew then, I might get closer, but not catch him.

A couple of stats on Morgan’s incredible month:

39 runs in 31 days
He averaged 10.5 miles per day
18,501 ft of elevation
He place 5th at the Rock on Lake Perry 50k

But what’s most impressive is how fast Morgan is. He did all those miles and 46 h 5 m. It took me 42 h 20 m to run 200, which means Morgan ran 125 more miles than me in just 3 hours and 45 minutes more. Way to go Speedy!
